Kansas City Royals Legend Goes Viral For Pitching Oddity

In this story:
The Kansas City Royals lost to the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night 6-3.
The results at this point are immaterial for both teams, as the Royals have the second-worst record in baseball at 54-103 and the Tigers are nine games under-500 at 74-83.
However, even in a game with little meaning, there can still be fun. And that's what we got from Royals' legend Zack Greinke, who went viral on social media for this pitching oddity.
Per Rob Friedman, 'The Pitching Ninja:'
Zack Greinke, 87mph Fastball and 88mph Changeup.
It doesn't have to make sense, if it's Zack Greinke.

Yup, Greinke officially threw his changeup faster than his fastball on Tuesday night. It's just one of many things that makes Greinke one of the most unique players in all of baseball.
And for what it's worth, whatever Greinke did on Tuesday night worked. He threw five scoreless innings on the night. He only allowed one hit and struck out five.
Greinke is a free agent at the end of the year and no one knows what his future holds, but if this is it for the 39-year-old, it's been a heck of a run.
For his career, he's a six-time All-Star, a six-time Gold Glover, a two-time ERA title holder and a Cy Young winner.
One of the most accomplished pitchers of his generation, he'll definitely be in the conversation when it comes to inclusion in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
He's 224-156 lifetime in his career with a 3.49 ERA. This year has been a struggle though. He's 1-15 with a 5.18 ERA.
He's played for the Royals, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Astros, Angels and Brewers.
