At the time of this posting, the Los Angeles Angels are losing to the Chicago White Sox, 7-3, in the bottom of the eighth inning.

It isn't all bad though. Angels star Shohei Ohtani continued his domination of White Sox pitching by hitting another home run against the Southsiders.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

Shohei Ohtani hits a 435-ft HR against the White Sox, the longest HR at Guaranteed Rate Field this season. It was the 10th of his career vs the White Sox, his most vs any team not in the AL West.

There's really no shame in this if you're the White Sox, Ohtani seemingly dominates against everyone, regardless of ballpark and regardless of division.

This season, he's hitting .263 with 13 homers, 34 RBI and seven stolen bases. He's posted a .845 OPS.

For his career, he's a .267 hitter with 140 homers and 376 RBI.

Of course, without Ohtani, it's not all about hitting. The most unique player we've ever seen, Ohtani is also a dominant pitcher. He's 5-1 this season with a 2.91 ERA.

Ohtani won the Rookie of the Year in the American League in 2018 and also won the MVP award in 2021. He's a two-time All-Star who also has a Silver Slugger award to his name.

If the Angels lose this game, they'll fall to 29-27. A win would move the White Sox to 22-34.

The two teams will play again on Wednesday at 2:10 p.m. as Jaime Barria pitches against Lance Lynn.
