Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodriguez was spotted hanging out with MLB.com Researcher and baseball personality Sarah Langs on Monday night before the Home Run Derby at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

The Mariners tweeted the picture of the two hanging out with the caption "Baseball is the BEST," which is Langs' signature catchphrase.

Rodriguez also commented on the picture by putting a "GOAT" emoji and tagging Langs @SlangsOnSports.

Rodriguez is one of the most identifiable young players in the entire sport, having won American League Rookie of the Year honors in 2022 while leading the Mariners to the playoffs for the first time since 2001. This year, he's hitting .249 with 13 homers for the Mariners, who are currently 45-44 and six games back in the American League West. They are 4.0 games back in the wild card chase.

Langs is one of the most recognizable personalities in baseball as well, always providing fun and interesting nuggets on social media and through her work on MLB Network. She's taken even more of a prominent role as it was publicized that she's battling ALS. She's helped raise money and awareness for the disease, which is there no current cure.

Rodriguez is one of eight participants in the Home Run Derby during All-Star Week, joining Pete Alonso of the Mets, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Blue Jays, Adley Rutschman of the Orioles, Luis Robert Jr. of the White Sox, Randy Arozarena of the Rays, Adolis Garcia of the Rangers and Mookie Betts of the Dodgers.

He's also playing in the All-Star Game on Tuesday night.
