Seattle Mariners star Julio Rodriguez is joining other great athletes before him in launching his own breakfast cereal.

It worked for former Buffalo Bills quarterback Doug Flutie and his "Flutie Flakes," so Rodriguez is taking his own shot, launching the appropriately-named "JuliO's."

He put the message out on Twitter on Tuesday:

Introducing JuliO’s !!

Rodriguez is known to care deeply about his country, having represented the Dominican Republic in both the 2021 Olympics and the 2023 World Baseball Classic. He also gave an emergency vehicle to his hometown this past offseason.

He also cares deeply about the city of Seattle, having professed his love for the Pacific Northwest on multiple occasions. He also showed that love by re-upping with the Mariners on a massive long-term deal last season that could keep him in Seattle for his entire career.

Rodriguez is the reigning American League Rookie of the Year and one of the brightest young stars in the game, so it makes sense for him to capitalize on his fame right now.

Maybe Rodriguez can have some of his signature cereal to help him get out of the offensive funk he's been in this year. He did have three hits on Monday, so maybe he's already had a bowl, actually.

He's hitting just .216 for the season with seven home runs.

The Mariners enter play on Tuesday at 23-24 overall.
