Seattle Mariners Superstar Got His Mom an Awesome Gift For Christmas

In this story:
Seattle Mariners superstar Julio Rodriguez is known to be great on the field, but he's also great in the community, and he's great at home too.
The 22-year-old stud, who is already a two-time All-Star, spent the holidays with his family, gifting his mother a brand new Jeep.

That's how you make an impact on the home front! And Rodriguez can certainly afford the new ride.
Despite spending just two years in the big leagues, he already has a massive contract that could keep him in Seattle for his entire career. He signed a complicated long-term deal that is guaranteed for at least seven years during the 2022 season.
Rodriguez will make $10 million in 2024.
One of the best young players in the game, Rodriguez is already a two-time All-Star, a two-time Silver Slugger and a Rookie of the Year winner.
He hit .275 this past season with 32 homers and 103 RBI. He also stole 37 bases and posted a .333 on-base percentage.
Lifetime, he's a .279 hitter who helped the Mariners make the playoffs in the 2022 season. Seattle missed the playoffs in 2023 by 1.0 game and has an uphill climb in the loaded American League in 2024. As the team looks for protection for Rodriguez in the lineup, they just signed catcher/designated hitter Mitch Garver to a two-year deal worth $24 million.
Though the addition of Garver is nice, Seattle still needs to find a way to replace the production lost from Teoscar Hernandez and Eugenio Suarez, who left in free agency and were traded away, respectively.
