Starting Lineups, Pitchers For Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers Game on Tuesday

After a grueling ten-game roadtrip to start the season, the Toronto Blue Jays are finally headed home for the last home opener in baseball.
The Jays, who navigated the trip through St. Louis, Kansas City and Anaheim to the tune of a 6-4 record return to Rogers Centre for the first time since being eliminated in the 2022 wild card round by the Seattle Mariners.
The Jays bring one of the best offenses North of the Border and here's how they line up for Game 1 of the series with the 2-7 Detroit Tigers.

Manoah, the newest MLB Network contributor, gets the ball in Game 1 of the series. The 25-year-old righty is currently 1-0 with a 4.35 ERA in two starts. He has eight strikeouts across 10.1 innings. For his career, he's 26-9 through parts of three seasons. He made the all-star team last year and finished at 16-7 with a 2.24 ERA. He finished third in the American League Cy Young voting last season.

For the Tigers, the story here is the lineup construction. In Sunday's loss to the Red Sox, Baez was hitting in three spot but now finds himself fifth. He's hitting just .121 but did go 2-4 in that game. Torkelson was hitting fifth on Sunday but now finds himself in sixth. He's hitting .235 but also had two hits on Sunday.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET.
