Starting Lineups, Pitchers for Rangers, Giants March 3 Spring Training Game

In this story:
The San Francisco Giants will play the Texas Rangers Friday afternoon at the Rangers' spring training home at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona. It is one of the Giants' two split squad games Friday. The other half of the team will host the Colorado Rockies at the Giants' spring training home at Scottsdale Stadium.
Newly acquired Sean Manaea will pitch for the Giants. Manaea pitched his first six Major League seasons for the Oakland Athletics, before he was traded to the San Diego Padres prior to the start of the 2022 MLB season. In Manaea's lone season in San Diego, he posted a 4.96 ERA over 158 innings pitched and 28 starts.
Manaea is looking to bounce back in the Bay Area. He signed a two-year, $25 million contract with the Giants over the winter.
Jon Gray was originally scheduled to take the mound for the Rangers, but was scratched from his start with back tightness. Tayor Hearn will start in his place.
