Starting Lineups, Pitchers for San Diego Padres vs. Atlanta Braves Game Thursday

The Atlanta Braves will play their home opener at Truist Park Thursday night against the San Diego Padres.
The Braves enter play Thursday tied with the Milwaukee Brewers for the best record in the National League, standing at 5-1. The Padres enter Thursday 3-3, after playing their first pair of series of the regular season, against the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.
Spencer Strider will take the mound for the Braves Thursday. Strider finished second in National League Rookie of the Year Award voting last season behind teammate Michael Harris II.
Blake Snell will start for the Padres. Snell is in his third year with the club. The Padres acquired Snell in a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays following the 2020 Major League Baseball season.
