Starting Lineups, Pitchers for Team Israel vs. Washington Nationals Game Thursday

In this story:
Team Israel will play its second exhibition game before the World Baseball Classic, Thursday at 6:05 p.m. ET against the Washington Nationals at the Nationals' spring training home, the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Team Israel dropped its first exhibition game Wednesday night 11-5 to the Miami Marlins. Thursday will be the final game for Team Israel, managed by Ian Kinsler, to work the kinks out of its system, before beginning play in the World Baseball Classic Sunday against Team Nicaragua.
Thursday, Team Israel will get another opportunity to prep itself as best as it can before the tournament. 19-year-old Jacob Steinmetz will start for Team Israel. Steinmetz was selected in the third round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 12 appearances in the Rookie League between 2021 and 2022, Steinmetz logged a 7.82 ERA, allowing 21 runs in 24 innings pitched.
Cade Cavali will start against Team Israel for the Nationals Thursday.
