Starting Lineups, Starting Pitchers for St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants Game Tuesday
The St. Louis Cardinals (9-14) and San Francisco Giants (9-13) will play game two of their four-game series Tuesday night at 9:45 p.m. ET at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California.
The Cardinals look to even the series after suffering yet another loss Monday night, dropping to 9-14 on the season. St. Louis was heavily favored to repeat as National League Central division champions in 2023, but finds itself in fourth place in the division hierarchy entering play Tuesday.
The Giants also enter Tuesday in fourth place in their division. The club is three games back of the National League West-leading Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks last appeared in the postseason in 2017 and hasn't won a division title since 2011.
Jake Woodford (1-2, 6.05 ERA) looks to deliver a win for Oli Marmol's club when he takes the mound for the Cardinals Tuesday night. John Brebbia (1-0, 5.63 ERA) will start for San Francisco.
