Starting Lineups, Starting Pitchers for Texas Rangers vs. Cincinnati Reds Game Tuesday

The Texas Rangers (14-8) and Cincinnati Reds (8-15) will play game two of a three-game series Tuesday evening at 6:40 p.m. ET at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Reds took the series opener Monday night, defeating the Rangers 7-6. The Rangers will try to even the series Tuesday, with Martin Perez (3-1, 3.38 ERA) taking the hill for Bruce Bochy's squad. Perez enjoyed a breakout season in 2022, logging a career-low 2.89 ERA. Perez accepted a one-year, $19.65 million qualifying offer, returning to Texas for his ninth season with the Rangers. Perez started his career in Texas, but pitched for the Minnesota Twins in 2019 and the Boston Red Sox in 2020 and 2021.
Luke Weaver (0-1, 6.00 ERA) will try to secure a series victory for the Reds, as they attempt to protect their home field. It will be Weaver's second start of the season.
