WATCH: Chicago White Sox' Tim Anderson Ejected in Game Wednesday vs. San Francisco Giants

In this story:
One day after San Diego Padres star Manny Machado was ejected after he was not granted a timeout following his request for one, Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson suffered a similar fate in his club's game against the San Francisco Giants at Guaranteed Rate Field Wednesday afternoon.

Anderson was not happy, and was ejected from the game after he said something to the home plate umpire from his club's dugout.
The White Sox entered play Wednesday with a 2-3 record. The club split a four-game series with the Houston Astros last weekend to open the season, but suffered a 12-3 loss to the San Francisco in their home opener on Monday.
Anderson recently competed in the World Baseball Classic, representing Team USA. He played a new position in the tournament, manning second base for Mark DeRosa's club. It was the first time Anderson played second base in his professional career, having not logged a single inning at the position in the minor leagues or the big leagues.
Wednesday, Anderson was ejected for the first time in the 2023 Major League Baseball season.
