WATCH: Large Brawl Breaks Out in Stands at Chicago White Sox Game Saturday

A scary scene occurred at the Chicago White Sox game against the Baltimore Orioles Saturday, as a large brawl broke out among fans in the left field foul territory at Guaranteed Rate Field. The fight involved men and women throwing punches in a sizable crowd. The video, captured by the Twitter user @keevkidd, shows the melee lasting close to two minutes, with security nowhere to be seen.

A scary scene occurred at the Chicago White Sox game against the Baltimore Orioles Saturday, as a large brawl broke out among fans in the left field foul territory at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The fight involved men and women throwing punches in a sizable crowd. The video, captured by the Twitter user @keevkidd, shows the melee lasting close to two minutes, with security nowhere to be seen. One usher appears to be trying to break up the fight, but without any help.

Crime and violence have become increasing concerns in the city of Chicago, but a fan fight breaking out at either Wrigley Field or Guaranteed Rate Field is a rarity. Melees like the one shown in the video have been known to occur more frequently in cities such as Oakland and Los Angeles. Fan fights captured on video from Los Angeles Rams games have gone viral on social media in recent years.

The fight was captured by other Twitter users, from different angles.

The White Sox have yet to comment on the incident that occurred at Saturday's game. No news on a potential police investigation has been reported.

It was an odd week in the stands at Major League games, as Colorado Rockies mascot Dinger was tackled by a fan at Coors Field just days earlier.

The White Sox would go on to defeat the Orioles 7-6 Saturday, picking up their sixth win of the season and improving their record to 6-9.

The Minnesota Twins lead the American League Central division with a 10-6 record, one game up on the Cleveland Guardians who stand at 9-7.
