The New York Yankees traveled across the country and started a West Coast swing in a big way on Monday night, beating the Seattle Mariners, 10-4.

Aaron Judge was the story of the game for New York, hitting two home runs and robbing another on defense.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Mariners outfielder Teoscar Hernandez hit a ball deep to right field that Judge brought back, preventing a run.

After the game, Hernandez and Judge took to social media for a witty exchange. It started with Hernandez tweeting: "Why @TheJudge44"

Judge then responded in jest, referencing some of Hernandez's career with the Blue Jays.

Brother I’ve seen you hit plenty of HRs over my head over the years! I can have just 1!

Judge's big performance was part of a big performance in general by the Yankees. They pounded out a season-high 18 hits in the win and seven players posted multi-hit efforts.

Judge's two home runs brought him to .302 on the year with 17 homers and 38 RBI. He's got an OPS of 1.087.

Lifetime, he's a .285 hitter with 237 homers. He won the American League MVP a season ago.

As for Hernandez, the robbery signifies more of his bad fortune this year. In a contract year, and in his first year in Seattle, he's hitting just .233. He does have nine homers.

The Mariners and Yankees will play each other again on Tuesday night. First pitch is slated for 9:40 p.m. ET.
