How to Watch Detroit Tigers 2023 Spring Training Games: Broadcast Schedule

The Detroit Tigers will play their first spring training game Feb. 25 at their spring training home in Lakeland, Florida, at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. Here's a look at the Tigers' entire spring training schedule, featuring dates, game times and television networks.

Pitchers and catchers will be reporting to spring training later this week.

The Detroit Tigers will play their first spring training game Feb. 25 at their spring training home in Lakeland, Florida, at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. They will host the reigning National League champion Philadelphia Phillies.

The majority of the Tigers' spring training games will not be televised, however fans will be able to listen to the games on the radio, on either 1270 AM or 97.1 FM.

Seven of the Tigers games will air on Bally Sports Detroit. Not all of the Tigers games will be broadcast, however, the opposing teams could still broadcast those games, instead.

Here's a look at the Tigers' full broadcast schedule:

Mar. 3: @ Philadelphia Phillies (1:05 p.m.) (SS)

Mar. 9: @ Pittsburgh Pirates (1:05 p.m.)

Mar. 11: @ Atlanta Braves (1:05 p.m.)

Mar. 18: @ St. Louis Cardinals (1:05 p.m.)

Mar. 23: @ Philadelphia Phillies (1:05 p.m.) (SS)

@ Baltimore Orioles (6:05 p.m.) (SS)

The Tigers will open the regular season in Tampa Bay against the Rays at Tropicana Field Mar. 30.

The Tigers finished fourth place in the American League Central in 2022, going 66-96. The club had much higher expectations entering the season. The Tigers, managed by A.J. Hinch, hope to improve in 2023 and compete in the AL Central.
