Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz is upon us, which means it's time for the kickoff press conference.

Paul and Diaz are set to collide in a boxing match on August 5. The action will emanate from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This will be Diaz's pro boxing debut. It'll be Paul's eighth pro boxing bout.

Things have gotten quite testy between Paul and Diaz. When the social media star fought MMA legend Anderson Silva last year, Diaz's team got into a backstage pull apart with members of Paul's team. After defeating Silva, Paul slammed Diaz for leaving the arena early.

Paul is hoping rebound after suffering the first loss of his pro boxing career back in February. The social media star was defeated by Tommy Fury via split decision.

As for Diaz, this will be his first fight since he decided to become a free agent after his UFC deal expired. Diaz has already made some waves within the social media boxing scene, throwing a water bottle at reality TV star Chase Demoor during the Misfits Boxing 6 event, and allegedly choking out TikTok star and Logan Paul lookalike Rodney Peterson on Bourbon Street.

To hype up the big summer showdown between Paul and Diaz, a press conference is being held today (May 9) and will begin at 2 p.m. ET. You can catch the live stream from "The Lone Star State" below:
