WWE News: Colossal Segment Announced For Monday Night Raw Tonight
A big segment has been revealed for tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw.
WWE Raw takes place inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas tonight. Already advertised for the show will be a gauntlet match with the winner earning a shot at Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER during WrestleMania 40. There will also be a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match, as well as a grudge match.
Now, a crucial segment has been announced for the red brand show.
WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that play-by-play ace Michael Cole will interview Cody Rhodes. Pearce has also promised an announcement in collaboration with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.
Cody will be addressing what transpired at the conclusion of the March 8th episode of Friday Night SmackDown. After he and Seth Rollins accepted a WrestleMania tag team match against The Rock and Roman Reigns, The Rock called Cody a mistake of the Rhodes family. Cody slapped The Rock in retaliation.
The aforementioned WWE Women's Tag Team Title match will see champions The Kabuki Warriors defend against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. As for that grudge match mentioned previously, it's Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan, and one has to wonder if Nia Jax will factor into this one after attacking the two last week.
