Current WWE Champion Set For Major Appearance During WrestleMania 40 Weekend

A WWE world titleholder is set for a big appearance during WrestleMania weekend.

A current world champion under the WWE banner is set for a big appearance during WrestleMania 40 weekend.

WWE is quite busy en route to the biggest wrestling event of the year. WrestleMania XL will emanate from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. At press time, six title matches have been announced for the two-night PLE, and seven matches total have been confirmed.

One WWE world champion is set for a noteworthy appearance during the weekend festivities.

It has been announced that Monday Night Raw's Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley will be making an appearance at WWE World on Sunday, April 7th. Ripley will be putting her championship on the line against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, although the night of their title match hasn't been made official at this time.

Rhea will be joining Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, the recently announced Randy Orton, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Rey Mysterio, and Bianca Belair at WWE World inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center. 

General Admission tickets for Ripley and "The Viper" are on sale now. VIP tickets for Rhea and Orton will go on sale on March 15, the same day Friday Night SmackDown heads to Memphis, Tennessee for a show that will feature The Rock. Those with VIP passes are guaranteed Meet and Greets.

GA tickets to see Rhodes, Punk, Rollins, Belair, and Charlotte have all sold out. VIP tickets are also nearing a sellout. WWE has certainly stacked WrestleMania weekend with its Fanatics Events partnership.
