WWE NXT Results: Carmelo Hayes Fools Trick Williams Before Stand & Deliver

One of the final WWE NXT stops before Stand & Deliver.

It's a Tuesday night, and another episode of WWE NXT is coming at you live.

We're nearing the big Stand & Deliver PLE event during WrestleMania weekend, so the stars of WWE's black and gold brand are ready to take flight just before their big moment on April 6th in Philly.

Fans will get to witness the in-ring return of Trick Williams. Last week's episode of WWE NXT ended with Trick and Lash Legend locking lips in front of a stunned WWE Universe. The kiss didn't make Noam Dar of The Meta-Four too happy, and he will be mixing it up with Trick tonight.

There are some other noteworthy matches on tonight's show as well.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have made a splash on the NXT brand, and they're hoping to solidify their place on the show by moving on to Stand & Deliver and capturing tag team gold. To do so, they'll need to get past Hank Walker & Tank Ledger in a number one contender qualifier this evening.

Plus, Roxanne Perez has unleashed a new attitude after viciously attacking the NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria. Now, Tatum Paxley is looking to avenge her friend's injury by going one-on-one with Perez.

Tony D'Angelo of The Family speaks out after kidnapping NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov, but letting him free before their title match at Stand & Deliver.

Also set for WWE NXT tonight will be Riley Osborne making a run at the NXT Heritage Cup, and a tag team qualifier with Nathan Frazer & Axiom taking on No Quarter Catch Crew.

WWE NXT Results (March 19, 2024)

Roxanne Perez vs. Tatum Paxley

The two immediately brawled outside the ring. Inside the ring, Perez hit a Russian Leg Sweep. Pop Rocks landed into a crossface for the win.

Winner: Roxanne Perez

After the match, Roxanne said Valkyria should hand her the NXT Women's Championship. Lyra ran down and attacked Perez, who ended up reinjuring Lyra's arm.

The Meta-Four ran into Alpha Academy. Otis admitted that Lash Legend's obsession over Trick is concerning.

Lyra was in the medical room and insisted she's fine. She told Ava Raine to make the match with Roxanne official for Stand & Deliver.

Josh Briggs is out and he has some words for Oba Femi. He dared him to try to put him through the ring. Oba was out and said his results speak volumes. Briggs says he's tougher than Oba.

Dijak made his way out after Briggs challenged Oba for the North American Championship. He said Oba may be ducking him. Oba told both men he's the top dog in the ring. The three ended up brawling before officials stepped in.

Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. No Quarter Catch Crew

A double team from Axiom and Frazer ended in a kick from the latter. Frazer hit a clothesline to the outside. Dempsey was kicked off the apron, then Axiom and Frazer landed suicide dives twice. A wheelbarrow slam was landed by Dempsey.

Frazer missed the Phoenix Splash. He leaped from the top rope, but he was caught into a suplex. Axiom hit a Spanish Fly from the top rope on Myles Bourne. Frazer landed the Phoenix Splash for the three-count.

Winners: Nathan Frazer & Axiom

The tweet of Robert Stone arguing with Von Wagner aired.

Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin were backstage for an interview. The Alpha Academy appeared again. They complained about not being in the tag team qualifiers. Maxxine suggested Otis and Akira Tozawa fight Breakker and Corbin. Bron and Corbin accepted.

Sol Ruca vs. Brinley Reece

Sol Ruca went for a suplex. Reece countered, but she ran into Sol Snatcher. This one was over.

Winner: Sol Ruca

After the match, Blair Davenport attacked Sol.

Arianna Grace claimed Gigi Dolin's actions last week were on purpose. She called her "Ms. NXT In Training." 

A video played of Ridge Holland, which he posted on his Instagram page.

Tony D'Angelo was with The Family. Ilja Dragunov appeared on the screen. The NXT Champion was cut off by Tony D'Angelo saying he doesn't understand what he's capable of. He set up a match between Ilja and Stacks. He said one wrong move and Stand & Deliver will be a burial.

Riley Osborne was backstage with Thea Hail, who apologized and asked if they can still be friends. Riley was happy to be have Thea by his side. The rest of Chase U followed.

Riley Osborne vs. Drew Gulak - Heritage Cup

Osborne was chopped to bits by Gulak. He ended up hitting a knee and then a shooting star press to score the first fall.

Fall #1: Riley Osbourne

Gulak scored the second fall, followed by a cheap shot to Osbourne. This led to all of Chase U getting in the ring to argue going into the commercial break.

Fall #2: Drew Gulak

Gulak locked in the Dragon Sleeper, but Osbourne was saved by the bell.

Osbourne had a roll-up, but only got a two-count. Both men were on the top rope. Jayce Jayne distracted Thea Hail. This also distracted Osbourne, which allowed Gulak to take advantage for the final fall.

Fall #3 & Winner: Drew Gulak

Ava Raine was interrupted by Thea Hail. She booked Thea for a match next week. She spoke to Duke Hudson and said if he wins a match next week, he may be in the North American Championship picture.

Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

Gallows knocked Hank out of the ring with an uppercut. Gallows threw him against the barricade and the ring apron. Gallows rained down punches. 

Hank hit an enzuigiri on Anderson. He then nailed Gallows with a headbutt. Tank was tagged in and he ran wild for a bit.

Eventually, he was hit with a spinebuster. Gallows and Anderson then hit Magic Killer for the win.

Winners: Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows

Trick Williams was backstage and he said if Carmelo shows up he'll whoop his ass.

Roxanne was interviewed in the infamous NXT parking lot. She vowed that shell snatch the NXT Women's Championship.

Jayce Jayne claimed she will end Thea Hail. Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan attacked Kiana James and Izzi Dame.

Trick Williams vs. Noam Dar

Dar looked for an armbar, but Trick rolled over for a near fall. Trick hit a dropkick for a two-count. Dar went for a choke, but Trick ran him to the corner. Trick hit a big uppercut for a two-count.

A picture-in-picture look at the backstage area showed Carmelo's security team telling him it was "time."

Dar hit a counter DDT and nearly got the win. He sunk in the Ankle Lock. Trick was able to reach the bottom rope.

Lash Legend was on the apron and she tried slapped Trick. This allowed Dar to hit a German suplex followed by a back elbow for a near fall.

Trick Shot landed on Dar and it was academic.

Winner: Trick Williams

After the match, Trick demanded that Carmelo shows up. Hayes' security team surrounded the ring. Carmelo then surprised Trick by playing his entrance theme, when he was really disguised as a security guard.

Carmelo hit the running knee on Trick to end the show.
