Global health and wellness brand GNC is joining Team Whistle's hit digital series 'No Days Off' around March Madness to highlight student-athletes' focus on nutrition and training, especially ahead the NCAA Tournament.

The newest episode features No. 4 North Carolina star Armando Bacot, who after an All-American season a year ago, returned to Chapel Hill to get the Tar Heels back to the Big Dance and to continue to expand his diverse NIL portfolio. He is North Carolina's all-time leader in rebounds (1,335) and double-doubles (68).

For Bacot, he understands better than anyone that his nutrition is just as important as anything else.

“I rely on sports nutritional products and consume them regularly to optimize my daily performance while training and playing,” Bacot said. “It was fun for me to be able to take my fans behind the scenes of a standard day in the life and show how I am able to give every session my full commitment with the support of GNC’s nutritional products.”

Team Whistle's 'No Days Off' series has accumulated more than 7.1 billion views and shares the stories of many of the top athletes in the world. The stories are typically focused on athletes who have overcome adversity to accomplish their goals.

Lauren Mannetti, VP of Marketing at GNC, wants athletes of all levels to understand how Nutriotan can help them.

“We want athletes of all levels and sports to see our nutritional products as being an enhancer for their everyday performance and lives. It was important to feature a player like Armando Bacot, who understands the value of a high-quality, science backed protein supplement as a tool to elevate his game.”

Bacot - who is averaging 14 points and 10 rebounds on the season - and the Tar Heels are the top seed in the ACC Tournament and face Pittsburgh tonight at 7PM ET. They are expected to be among the top seeds in the NCAA Tournament.
