FINAL UPDATE: Anthony Davis' Current Injury Status For Lakers-Rockets Game

Anthony Davis is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in Texas to face off against the Houston Rockets.

For the game, Anthony Davis is on the injury report, listed as questionable. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Anthony Davis (adductor, hip) questionable for Wednesday."

Davis got injured during Monday's 108-107 loss to the Miami Heat but was able to return to the game and finished with nine points, six rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 4/7 from the field in 25 minutes. 

Following the game, Davis spoke to reporters and was confident he could play against the Rockets.

Davis is off to a fantastic start to the new season and is averaging 23.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.3 blocks per contest while shooting 55.3% from the field and 42.9% from the three-point range in seven games. 

The Lakers have gone 3-4 in their first seven games, and they will finish their four-game road trip when they visit the Phoenix Suns (in Arizona) on Friday.

Davis is in his 12th season in the NBA (his fifth with the Lakers) and has career averages of 24.0 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.3 blocks per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 30.0% from the three-point range in 667 regular season games.

He has also appeared in 55 NBA playoffs and helped lead the Lakers to the 2020 NBA Championship.
