The RAM Texas Circuit finals in Waco, Texas concluded Friday evening after four days of heated competition. Twelve qualified barrel racers battled it out every single night on the dirt with their equine partners.

In the barrel racing, both round three, as well as four, were dominated by Ashley Castleberry and Kelly Allen, who were top of the leaderboard in first in second, respectively.

Allen and Castleberry were the only two barrel racers to place in all four rounds of the Texas Circuit finals. That means they ran four clean, qualified and fast runs four days in row.

Both competitors ended up over an entire second ahead of the rest of the field in their total combined run times after all four performances.

Winning champion, Castleberry qualified the National Finals Rodeo Open in Colorado Springs.

Allen not only won reserve champion in the finals but also ended up the overall year-end winner of the Texas Circuit, with 2020 NFR qualifier Jimmie Smith reserve year end.

This also qualified Allen for the NFR Open in Colorado Springs.

"We may have been the only two at Sioux Falls that aren’t going to the NFR….So we collectively decided to go to the NFR Open in July," Allen posted on her social media, posing with Castleberry and their gold buckles at the conclusion of the circuit finals.

Allen not only won reserve champion in the finals but also ended up the overall year-end winner of the Texas Circuit, with 2020 NFR qualifier Jimmie Smith reserve year end.
