Team ropers were all business in the first two rounds of the Texas Circuit Finals at the Heart O' Texas Coliseum in Waco. An average of 9.9 seconds on two head ties for first after the second round.

The top 12 teams in the Texas Circuit standings qualified to compete in Waco, from there, the top two teams will advance to the NFR Open next July.

Its not out of the ordinary to see generations of families compete in rodeo. For many families, it is their way of life passed down to their kids and grandkids. However, it is not every day siblings have the opportunity to compete together at such a high level.

At the Texas Circuit Finals there are three teams of brothers competing together, all placing in the first round.

Rockwall, Texas, natives Coy and Colton Brittain won the first round with a 5.0-second run, and then fourth in the second round with 4.9 seconds to lead the average. The Brittain's have also qualified for the United Professional Rodeo Association finals that will take place at the State Fair of Texas next week in Dallas.

Manny Egusquiza and Evan Arnold won the second round with a 4.3-second run, combined with their time from round one, they are splitting first in the average with the Brittains.

Newlywed McCoy and his brother McCray Profili placed fourth in round one with 8.5 seconds. A businesslike run in round two puts them fourth in the average with two rounds remaining. The Profili brothers also qualified for the UPRA finals.

The RAM Texas Circuit Finals will conclude after the fourth round Friday night.
