It's no secret that the end of the 2023 rodeo season is near and the team ropers are hurrying to be in one of the top 15 spots ahead of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

The header and the heeler earnings are separate and each athlete must qualify in their individual side. It's not unusual to see headers paired with different heelers throughout the year and this sometimes throws off the earnings. Many times these athletes will have deferent partners at the NFR.

Currently, multiple time NFR-qualifying header and heeler duo Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueria lead the pack. This team has been on fire for years and fans are excited to see the two back again this year at the 2023 NFR.

There is only $1,000 separating the headers in 14th through 17th in the standings, as well as less than a $1,000 separating the 15th and 16th in heelers. There are quite a few ropers on the bubble of making it into the top-15. It will be interesting to see how the Cowboy Capital Rodeo and Cinch Playoffs shake things up.

With just a few rodeos left here is a look at the top-20 in both heading and heeling based on earnings.
