Seven new signature basketball sneakers were launched in 2023, and an argument could easily be made that none enjoyed a better rollout than Sabrina Ionescu's line. The New York Liberty guard grabbed headlines throughout the summer with her debut Nike hoop shoe and has yet to lose steam with its marketing.

The Nike Sabrina 1 first debuted in March 2023 before launching in September 2023. With Ionescu's first signature model nearing the end of its scheduled release cycle, it is only fitting that it makes a triumphant return to Eugene, Oregon.

Earlier this week, the Oregon Ducks social media team shared pictures of the Nike Sabrina 1 in three player-exclusive colorways. It looks like the players received a green, white, and black colorway with distinctive design details specific to each style. Check out the Instagram post below for a detailed look at the kicks.

Of course, Ionescu tore up the NCAA landscape during her four seasons on the Oregon women's basketball team. Also, the relationship between Nike and the University of Oregon is well-documented. Nike co-founder Phil Knight is a proud Oregon alum who always ensures that the Ducks athletic program is outfitted in the best apparel and sneakers the Beaverton-based brand has to offer.

While we all want to get our hands on the green and yellow player-exclusive sneakers worn by Ducks athletes, it is a right reserved for some of the best athletes in the NCAA. The silver lining is the Nike Sabrina 1, which is available in multiple styles online and can be customized in Oregon colors on the Nike website.

Ionescu and Nike have already made sneaker history by creating a debut hoop shoe that took the basketball world by storm, and now the model is ending where it all started. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com to learn more about what your favorite athletes wear on and off the court.
