Thanks to the new rules recently implemented in the NCAA, we get to see more of our favorite athletes than ever. Not just with the transfer portal but with NIL deals, players are finally able to capitalize on their platform. Few athletes are benefiting more than Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback Sam Hartman.

At 24 years old, playing his sixth season of college football, Hartman is truly living the dream. Of course, Hartman has paid his dues and withstood some serious adversity to get to this point. It's one of the many reasons why college football fans are fascinated with the Heisman Trophy candidate.

Earlier this week, Under Armour unveiled a short video starring Hartman on its social media channels. The super-senior gave fans a glimpse of a day in his life while promoting the UA SlipSpeed training shoe.

Hartman begins his day with film study for the upcoming opponent before heading to Notre Dame's indoor training facility. At that point, Hartman adjusts the training shoes into "speed mode" to prepare for his warmups and footwork drills.

After his dynamic warmup, Hartman hits the weight room for a full-body workout. Once his training for the day is complete, Hartman readjusts the shoes back into "slip mode" to aid in recovery. "That's a typical day in the life of a quarterback at Notre Dame," Hartman concludes.

A detailed look at the UA SlipSpeed.

Under Armour launched the UA SlipSpeed in October 2022 for $150 in adult unisex sizing. Athletes and fans can choose between multiple styles and colorways of the game-changing training shoes on the Under Armour website.

Based on feedback from athletes, Under Armour wanted to solve the problem of carrying around multiple shoes at all times. The slip-on sneaker is designed for performance to take athletes from training to recovery mode, with options for all-day wear.

The shoe features a ‘crushable’ heel design, UA Flow technology, and an Iso-Chill padder interior. Best of all, they are machine washable without sacrificing their integrity. An exclusive laundry bag makes it easy to keep the shoes fresh and clean.

If the UA SlipSpeed is good enough for Hartman, then the revolutionary training shoes are good enough for us. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your sneaker news from the sports world.
