In addition to being the top-ranked public school in the nation for seven consecutive years and being the bluest of blue-blood college basketball programs, the UCLA Bruins have some of the best sneakers in the country.

Since signing a six-year footwear and apparel deal with Jordan Brand in July 2021, athletes in Westwood, California, have made headlines with their player-exclusive kicks.

One of the most important moments came when Bruins guard Kiki Rice debuted the Air Jordan 38 in the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Fast forward six months, the Air Jordan 38 has finally hit shelves, and the Bruins are sporting an unreleased blue and gold colorway.

The UCLA Women's Basketball team recently held its annual picture day, and that gave the players an opportunity to show off their new Air Jordan 38 sneakers. The hoop shoes feature a blue mesh upper contrasted with white and gold detailing. Lastly, the 'UCLA' branding on the tongue provides the finishing touches to the flawless colorway.

Unfortunately for fans, these kicks will never be released to the public. However, they can purchase the Air Jordan 38 in a general release colorway and UCLA apparel on Nike's website.

The college basketball season will be here before we know it, and sneakerheads can expect more heat coming out of Pauley Pavilion over the next several months. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all your sneaker news in the sports world.
