The road to Revolution continues as AEW Collision comes to us on a special night from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Willow Nightingale announced that she would be defending her TBS Championship in an open challenge later tonight on Collision. With the Babes of Wrath in her rear view mirror, Nightingale will look to focus on defending the TBS Championship moving forward.

Knowing that "Timeless" Toni Storm will be out of action for quite some time after being a victim of a backstage mystery attacker, now would be the perfect time for AEW to bring back one of the many talented members of its women's division who are currently sitting at home. Who will step up and answer Nightingale's challenge? Tune in to find out.

Willow Nightingale isn't the only champion in action tonight on Collision, as both FTR and the Divine Dominion are scheduled to be in action. Last night on Dynamite, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage were on the warpath looking for Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The legendary tag team promised they would get their hands on FTR later tonight, ahead of their title match next weekend at Revolution.

AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley will also compete tonight in an Eliminator Match against Anthony Bowens, who has been trying to earn his way into The Opps. A victory would not only put Bowens in line for a future title shot but would almost guarantee him a spot alongside HOOK, Katsuyori Shibata, and the currently sidelined Samoa Joe.

On the flip side, Moxley better have eyes in the back of his head tonight as Will Ospreay will certainly be looking for revenge this evening after the beatdown he received from the Death Riders on Dynamite. With their grudge match at Revolution right around the corner, Moxley needs to make an example out of Bowens in quick fashion before he gets taken out by the Aerial Assassin.

Also scheduled for tonight's episode of Collision is a one-on-one contest between Tommaso Ciampa and Juice Robinson. Following Ciampa's attempted sneak attack on Robinson last week, after his victory over Ace Austin, the Bang Bang Gang member will be looking for a measure of revenge for his teammate.

We'll also see an eight-man tornado tag match as Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Mistico, and Kevin Knight team up to take on Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, David Finlay, and Clark Connors.

AEW Collision results:

This week's episode of Collision kicks off with a Continental Championship Eliminator matchup as Jon Moxley goes one-on-one with Anthony Bowens.

Jon Moxley defeated Anthony Bowens in a Continental Title Eliminator Match. This was a surprisingly competitive contest. It's been a long time since Bowens has been treated like a top talent in AEW, so to be able to hold his own with Moxley goes a long way. The Finish of the match saw Jon Moxley hit Anthony Bowens with the Death Rider to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Will Ospreay lays Moxley out with a Hidden Blade. Ospreay goes out to grab a chair but the Death Riders pull him out. Ospreay gets on the microphone and tells Moxley he wants their match to be for the Continental Championship so there can be no outside interference. The title match is quickly made official.

Kazuchika Okada is backstage with Andrade El Idolo and Mark Davis, making it clear that their match tonight against the Rascalz is all about revenge for Kyle Fletcher, who was injured on last week's show.

AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion defeated Ava Lawless and Kristara. Just a quick showcase squash match for the champs. Megan Bayne and Lena Kross hit Divine Intervention to score the pinfall victory.

Jon Moxley is backstage with Marina Shafir and Daniel Garcia. Moxley is surprised that Will Ospreay wants to face him for the Continental Championship at Dynasty. Moxley questions why you would want a match like that when you're less than 100%. Mox tells Ospreay to expect no mercy. Moxley says he doesn't even have to Ospreay, and says that Ospreay will beat himself.

The Hurt Syndicate is backstage together again. MVP announces that the group is seeking to add a new member. Bobby Lashley says they are ready to hurt people.

Former AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida answers Willow Nightingale's open challenge.

Willow Nightingale defeated Hikaru Shida to retain the TBS Championship. It's really great to see Shida back in the ring after being away from the company for so long. Unlike others who miss a lot of time, Shida looked like she had little to no ring rust, which is very impressive. The finish saw Willow Nightingale catch Hikaru Shida with a backslide pin to score the victory.

After the match, Shida teased hitting Nightingale from behind with her kendo stick out of frustration, but thought better of it.

AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR (w/ Stokely) defeated Mo Jabari and London Lightning. This was quick and painless. FTR hit London Lighting with the Shatter Machine to score the pinfall victory.

After the match, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage hit the ring and attacked FTR. Cope and Cage try to hit Wheeler with the Conchairto, but Stokely yanks the chair out of Cage's hands. Cage hits a security member with a Conchairto instead.

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Juice Robinson. This match is exactly the type of hard-hitting affair you'd expect from these men. Ciampa is having a career resurgence in AEW this year, and it's just wonderful to see. The finish of the match saw Tommaso Ciampa hit Juice Robinson with two running knees to score the pinfall victory.

We hear from Isiah Kassidy backstage, who reveals that Jon Moxley injured his tag team partner, Marq Quen, last week. Despite that, Kassidy will continue to compete as a singles act until his tag partner heals up.

Andrade El Idolo and Mark Davis (w/ Don Callis) defeated The Rascalz (w/ Myron Reed). This was a very fun tag team match. El Idolo and Davis is an odd pairing, but when injuries happen sometimes odd pairings end up taking place. The finish saw Andrade El Idolo hit Zachary Wentz with the DM to score the pinfall victory for his team.

After the match, Kazuchika Okada and RPG Vice hit the ring to continue the attack on The Rascalz. Myron Reed evens the odds and sends the Don Callis Family packing.

Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Mistico, and Kevin Knight defeated Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, David Finlay, and Clark Connors (w/ Marina Shafir) in an 8-man Tornado tag match. This was every bit as chaotic as one would expect for an 8-man tornado tag match. The finish saw Kevin Knight hit Wheeler Yuta with the UFO Splash to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Speedball Mike Bailey comes out to celebrate with Mistico and Kevin Knight as AEW Collision goes of the air.
