UFC 296 takes place this Saturday, but EA Sports’ UFC 5 is full of updates today.

Leon Edwards, who headlines UFC 296 as he defends the welterweight title against Colby Covington, has a new feature. Players can now download and play as Leon Edwards Alter Ego from UFC Fight Night 2015, which is when he began to carve his name into UFC history.

EA SPORTS also launched Alter Egos–PRIDE 33, which features five of the most significant competitors in MMA history who can now be played from their breakthrough moment in 2007 while fighting for Pride Fighting Championship. Those fighters include Alistair Overeem, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson, and Nick Diaz.

For those playing UFC 5 ahead of UFC 296, a new set of Fight Week Challenges and Fight Picks are available.

The game’s first fighter drop added flyweight Amir Albazi and Xiaonan Yan to the UFC 5 fight roster, and both fighters are now playable. Additional UFC fighters will be added to the roster in January and February, including:

January:

  • Ian Garry
  • Mike Malott
  • Charles Jourdain
  • Mayra Bueno Silva
  • Jailton Almeida

February:

  • Bryce Mitchell
  • Maycee Barber
  • Joe Pyfer

Sports Illustrated will continue to share all the latest UFC 5 updates.
