The Grant-McMahon legal battle continued yesterday after Janel Grant filed 139 pages of documents with the U.S. District Court of Connecticut.

Vince McMahon's attorneys and WWE filed a motion earlier this year to move the case to private arbitration. Grant filed the court documents arguing against McMahon's motion.

Grant is accusing McMahon and her former employer, WWE, of a number of claims ranging from sexual assault and trafficking to harassment and physical abuse. The court documents she filed were supported by statements from doctors and psychologists she visited.

McMahon's side claims Grant was paid a large sum to honor the full terms of a Non-Disclosure Agreement she signed, but Grant claims McMahon did not pay the full amount that was agreed upon by the two parties. Grant is not only looking to void the NDA but also to prove why the NDA simply isn't enforceable.

In her legal team's arguments, Grant dives heavily into WWE President Nick Khan's role in the entire conflict.

Nick Khan was allegedly aware and stayed silent

Grant is requesting that she be allowed the opportunity to present her case in front of a judge after McMahon's side filed for arbitration. Part of her statements to the court included specific details regarding how and when Khan became aware of everything happening to Grant.

"Vince then informed me that he had spoken privately with Nick Khan and Brad Blum during which he formally disclosed the sexual nature of his relationship with me...Vince told me he provided them with assurances about my loyalty, character, that I would never do something to hurt WWE, and that I would sooner jump off the balcony than hurt anyone.’ He told me that, with these assurances, Nick and Brad were ultimately supportive."

Documents also alleged that WWE's former General Counsel, Brian Nurse, who was the top lawyer for WWE, was very suspicious of a potential sexual relationship between Grant and McMahon. Nurse allegedly raised this suspicion to light in a meeting with McMahon and former WWE COO Brad Blum. However, McMahon considered the situation handled.

Nurse considered McMahon's relationship with Grant to be a corporate liability, allegedly leading to Nurse's termination. Grant was also asked to leave the workplace because her presence affected their search for a new General Counsel.

Khan allegedly ignored what he saw

The mental and physical trauma that Grant is alleging she endured is extensive, and she also alleges that Khan and Blum noticed her deteriorating health but chose to turn a blind eye.

"As a result of the physical and psychological trauma, I also experienced panic attacks, sleep deprivation, dizziness, exhaustion, rashes, hair loss, severe weight loss, and migraines...[Khan and Blum] surveilling my every move and enabling Vince’s abuse."

The court documents reveal explicit information about the possible damage McMahon caused. Along with suing Vince McMahon and WWE, Grant also named WWE executive John Laurinaitis as a defendant. Grant has since settled with Laurinaitis, but continues to pursue her day in court against WWE and Vince McMahon.
