Lola Vice Main Roster Debut Teased During WWE Raw

It appears that the women's roster on Monday Night Raw will be getting a major boost within the next few weeks.

Former NXT Women's Champion Lola Vice said goodbye to WWE's development system earlier this month after after she came up short in her Underground Match against reigning NXT Women's Champion Kendal Grey.

Vice cut an emotional promo to the audience that had gathered inside the WWE Performance Center after the August 4 edition of NXT went off the air, and it was rumored that she was on her way to sign with Friday Night SmackDown. While Vice is certainly main roster bound, it turns out that her debut will take place on a Monday.

Word first surfaced this past Friday that new vignettes for Lola Vice had been filmed and were set to air imminently, and the one the dropped during the August 24 episode of Monday Night Raw absolutely fit the description that was laid out by the insiders at TRNBCKL.

"The presentation is described as attention‑grabbing, and the expectation internally is that these will make an immediate impact once they start airing," TRNBCKL said in their report.

As of Friday, TRNBCKL said that the expectation was still for Vice to join the SmackDown roster. However, her official main roster debut has now been announced for September 14, which is the big episode of WWE Raw live from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.

Whether Vice will be signing an exclusive contract to Monday Night Raw remains to be seen, but as I've explained before, Lola is needed more on Monday nights than she is on Friday nights.

The SmackDown women's roster is absolutely stacked, and recently added former NXT Women's and NXT Women's North American Champion Tatum Paxley to the mix. The locker room, with free agents like Paige and Nikki Bella included, already has north of 20 ladies for a two-hour program.

Even though it's the longer show, the women's roster on WWE Raw has just 13 women total. That includes both Asuka and Bayley, who are currently on hiatus from the company with no guarantee that either will ever return to WWE television.

Vice would slot in nicely as an immediate contender for Raquel Rodriguez' Women's Intercontinental Championship, alongside the likes of Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria.

Perhaps we'll find out more about her permanent main roster status on the September 14 edition of WWE Raw, which is shaping up to be quite the show. It's already been announced that Roman Reigns will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship that night. He'll face off against AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix, Penta or La Parka.
