Vote Now: Who is the Panhandle Baseball Player of the Week? (April 24-April 29)?

The Panhandle Region is rich in baseball talent throughout the region between teams like Pace, Pensacola Catholic, Tate, South Walton and many others. Of all the counties, there's no shortage of talent across the board.
Having so many quality players to pick from has become a challenge, because so many of these student athletes are worthy of recognition.
At SBLive Sports Florida, we aim to include as many deserving players as possible. Coaches are encouraged to pass along candidates to my Twitter handle @Andy_Villamarzo.
Congratulations to Gavin Howard of Gulf Breeze, our Panhandle Baseball Player of the Week for April 17-April 22, as voted by the fans. Keegan received 98.89% of 1,532 votes casted.
Brady Martin, Niceville: The sophomore pitcher looked untouchable on the mound in a 4-1 win over Northview. Martin nearly went the distance, striking out nine, allowing one run on three hits versus the Chiefs.
Bryson Whelan, Pine Forest: Perfect at the plate and accounting for half of your team's runs? That's quite the feat one could pull off and Whelan did that for the Eagles in a 8-0 victory over Lighthouse Christian. Whelan hit two doubles and drove in four runs.
Cole Crocker, Navarre: Facing off against a neighboring rival in Choctawhatchee, Crocker brought his 'A' game to the mound. The Raiders' pitcher went five innings, allowed four hits, one run and fanned seven in a 7-2 win over the Indians.
Noah Wright, Fort Walton Beach: Going to distance and winning the game is one of the best feelings a pitcher can have. Wright pulled the feat off in a 5-1 win over West Florida, allowing six hits, one run and striking out four.
Hudson Mandel, South Walton: A grand slam helped seal the deal for South Walton in a 10-run rule of Jay last week. The junior's grand slam lifted the Seahawks to a 11-1 victory over the Royals.
Rupert Sproles, Pensacola: Did a freshman on the Panhandle have a performance like Sproles? The first-year varsity pitcher looked like a seasoned senior on the mound in a n 11-5 win over Vernon, striking out 14 and allowing four hits.
Ethan Gil, Arnold: The senior made quick work of Walton in a five inning affair last week. The Marlins won the contest 11-0 behind Gil's strong pitching, allowing just three hits, one walk and striking out 11.
