Dynasties, Perfect Seasons and Razor-Thin Team Race Defined Missouri’s State Wrestling Championships

Missouri crowned 56 individual champions and four team state champions during the 96th MSHSAA Boys Wrestling Championships at Mizzou Arena.

Over four days in Columbia, the state’s top wrestlers battled through full championship brackets across four classifications, with multiple unbeaten seasons capped by gold medals and several tight team races decided late in the tournament.

Centralia defended its Class 1 title to secure its third championship in four years. Odessa continued its run in Class 2, winning a third consecutive state crown. St. Michael the Archangel, two seasons removed from a runner-up team finish in Class 2, surged to the Class 3 championship. In Class 4, Liberty extended one of the state’s most dominant runs, capturing its seventh straight team title.
