Milton basketball players Cameron Walker, Jonathan Murray arrested on suspicion of murder

Two Milton High School basketball players were arrested late Wednesday night on suspicion of murder and robbery in the death of a 24-year-old man last month in Alpharetta.
The Alpharetta Police Department, with assistance from the North Fulton SWAT team, arrested Cameron Walker, 17, and Jonathan Murray, 18, on suspicion of the robbery and murder of 24-year-old Connor Mediate on Oct. 14.
Walker and Murray both started in Milton's season opener Wednesday night against Roswell, and Walker — a George Mason commit — was the second-leading scorer with 17 points.

Murray was a summer transfer from Alabama and played on the Milton football team early in the season.
Milton is ranked No. 3 in the nation in SBLive's preseason boys basketball poll.
The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety announced the arrests in a Facebook post.
