A man reportedly died of multiple gunshot wounds near Oxon Hill High School in Maryland on Friday evening, prompting the postponement of Oxon Hill's football game against High Point.

Sources told 7News On Your Side that the shooting was not connected to the school, but the Oxon Hill High School athletic department announced after the shooting that Friday night's football game would be postponed.

The shooting victim was found dead on the scene in a vehicle after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, Prince George's County police told 7News.

Last Friday at Edgewood High School in Maryland, shots rang out after the Edgewood-Joppatowne football game.

They were fired near the front of the school, away from the stadium, and no injuries were reported. Two suspects were arrested at the scene.
