Jacob Miller racked up stats rarely seen in a day's work Friday.
The Liberty Union ace earned the save in a 10-9, 10-inning win over Bloom-Carroll to resume an April 4 game that had been suspended by darkness tied 9-9 after seven innings.
He also scored what proved to be the winning run on a Jon Wheeler RBI single in the top of the 10th.
Then Miller pitched a 16-strikeout, three-hit shutout and slugged a solo homer in the main event, a 2-0 Liberty Union win to run the Lions' record up to 12-0 (8-0).
And Miller had started and homered April 4 before closing the same game 18 days later.
So his combined stats for the two games included 11 1/3 innings pitched, 25 strikeouts, a win, a save and two home runs.
The Louisville commit boasting a fastball in the upper 90s is ranked just outside the top 50 on MLB's prospect rankings for the July draft.
Logan Moore pitched well for Bloom-Carroll in the nightcap, striking out five in six innings and giving up two earned runs.
