Congratulations to Sutherlin’s Addyson Clark for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 1-7. 

Clark, a junior forward on the Sutherlin team, turned in a double-double for the Bulldogs with 22 points and 13 rebounds in their 58-31 win over Coquille in a Far West League contest. She had 20 points in a 45-37 nonleague victory at Marshfield.

Clark received 49.17% of the vote, beating out Graycie Rodgers, a senior on the North Douglas team, who finished second with 44.91%. Elliette Kinney, a sophomore on the Creswell team, was third with 1.32% and Kaylor Buse, a freshman on the West Linn team, was fourth with 1.05%. There were nearly 39,000 votes tallied this week.
