McKinney (Texas) five-star safety Xavier Filsaime shows off his speed and athleticism on a touchdown run Friday night

McKinney (Texas) superstar Xavier Filsaime projects as a safety at the next level.

But the 6-foot, 180-pound five-star prospect is also more than capable of making jaw-dropping plays on the offensive side of the ball. 

Filsaime showed that Friday night, taking a handoff in motion to the outside and running down the sideline away from the defense for a 70-yard touchdown.

Filsaime, the nation's No. 2 safety, is committed to Florida and is one of the headliners of its class.

However, the in-state Texas Longhorns haven't been shy about their efforts to flip him, extending a scholarship offer earlier this week.

So, whoever ends up landing Filsaime will be getting a stellar prospect.

But there may still be a major battle ahead.
