Mountain Brook’s Trendon Watford led all scorers with 31 points as the Spartans beat Pelham 72-56 in a game at Pete Hannas Center.”

Watford’s points came on 9 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Pelham was led by Seth Torman’s 15 points and Justin Allison added 12. Pelham fell to 0-2 overall while Mountain Brook improved their record to 12-0.

Pelham’s next game is scheduled to be played at Spartan Arena on Wednesday Jan. 4 at 7:30pm versus Mountain Brook. Mountain Brook will travel to Pete Hannas Center on Thursday Dec. 22 at 2:30pm to play Huffman.
