Hoover defeats Mountain Brook 61-49

Hoover’s Ellis Conwell led all scorers with 17 points as the Buccaneers beat Mountain Brook 61-49 in a game at Hoover High School.”

Conwell’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 6 of 7 free throws during the game.

Mountain Brook was led by Trendon Watford’s 26 points and Ben Mc Cool added 14. Mountain Brook fell to 17-2 overall while Hoover improved their record to 1-0.

Mountain Brook’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Jan. 10 at 7:30pm versus Huffman.
