Hoover’s Cj Melton led all scorers with 16 points as the Buccaneers beat Oak Mountain Eagles 54-47 in a game.

Melton’s points came on 4 field goals and 8 of 11 free throws during the game.

Ethan Duncan added 10. Oak Mountain fell to 2-3 overall while Hoover improved their record to 17-6.

Oak Mountain’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 12:00pm versus Tuscaloosa County. Hoover will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 5:30pm to play Thompson.
