Hoover Buccaneers cruises by Oak Mountain Eagles 67-20 in Alabama high school basketball game

Hoover’s Joiya Maddox led all scorers with 14 points as the Buccaneers beat Oak Mountain Eagles 67-20 in a game.

Maddox’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Abi Brown added 5. Oak Mountain fell to 1-5 overall while Hoover improved their record to 20-1.

Oak Mountain’s next game is scheduled to be played at Thompson High School on Friday Jan. 25 at 6:00pm versus Thompson. Hoover will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 6:00pm to play Thompson.
