Mater Dei Monarchs cruises by Perry Pumas 77-42 in Arizona high school basketball game

Mater Dei Guard Devin Askew led all scorers with 14 points as the Monarchs beat Perry Pumas 77-42 in a game at Gilbert, AZ.

Askew’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Demarco Wiley added 8. Perry fell to 0-1 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 2-0.

Perry’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 13 at 7:00pm versus Centennial. Mater Dei will host West on Tuesday Dec. 10 at 7:30pm.
