Johnsburg cruises by Woodstock 51-17

QB Alec Smith accumulated 136 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide Johnsburg to a 51-17 win over Woodstock on Friday night.

The Skyhawks also received vital efforts from Justin Peake who rushed 4 times for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Jacob McKinney who rushed 16 times for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Woodstock’s QB Michael Purkey threw for 54 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Gavin Conatser picked up 123 rushing yards and WR David Shinherr had 45 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Woodstock falls to 2-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Johnsburg travels to Appleton, WI to challenge the Appleton West Terrors on Friday September 28 at 7:15pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
