Woodstock North beats Burlington Central 25-14

RB Ed Flores had 157 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide Woodstock North to a 25-14 win over Burlington Central on Friday night at Woodstock, IL.

The Thunder also received helpful efforts from QB Ryan Zinnen who rushed 8 times for 53 yards and RB Elijah Pena who rushed 4 times for 44 yards.

Burlington Central’s QB Jake Lenschow threw for 70 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Nicholas Termini picked up 91 rushing yards and LB Kyle Moring had 30 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Woodstock North improve to 3-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
