Nashwauk Keewatin defeats Cherry 52-34

Nashwauk Keewatin’s Cody Staydohar led all scorers with 20 points as the Spartans beat Cherry 52-34 in a game at Nashwuak High school.”

Staydohar’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Cherry was led by Jacob Demars’ 9 points and Jeremy Hansen added 8. Cherry fell to 0-1 overall while Nashwauk Keewatin improved their record to 1-6.

Cherry’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 30 at 2:30pm versus Nashwauk Keewatin. Nashwauk Keewatin will host Northwoods on Thursday Dec. 29 at 7:15pm.
