Hayfield Vikings beat Southland Rebels 71-55 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Hayfield’s Mason Tapp led all scorers with 23 points as the Vikings beat Southland Rebels 71-55 in a game at Hayfield.

Tapp’s points came on 8 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Ethan Forthun added 12. while Hayfield improved their record to 2-1.

Hayfield will travel to Hayfield on Thursday Dec. 6 at 5:15pm to play New Richland Hartland Ellendale Geneva.
