Albany Huskies defeat Pierz Pioneers 76-70 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Albany’s Nolan Rueter led all scorers with 19 points as the Huskies beat Pierz Pioneers 76-70 in a game at Albany, MN.

Rueter’s points came on 4 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Benjamin Virnig added 15. Pierz fell to 10-3 overall while Albany improved their record to 10-1.

Pierz’s next game is scheduled to be played at Mora High School on Tuesday Mar. 2 versus Mora. Albany will travel to on Friday Feb. 26 to play Osakis.
