Renville County West’s Holly Bratsch led all scorers with 14 points as the Jaguars beat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints 49-40 in a game at Renville.

Bratsch’s points came on 4 field goals and 2 three pointers during the game.

Hayley Demuth added 12. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg fell to 0-5 overall while Renville County West improved their record to 1-0.

Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Feb. 4 versus Lac Qui Parle Valley. Renville County West will travel to Kerkhoven on Tuesday Feb. 23 to play Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg.
