Byhalia beats Caledonia 28-14

Charles Powell picked up 246 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead Byhalia to a 28-14 win over Caledonia on Friday night at Byhalia High School.

The Indians also received major efforts from Lataryl Daughtery who rushed 11 times for 72 yards and 1 touchdown and DeQuan Moore who completed 3 passes for 63 yards.

Caledonia’s QB Brandon Edmondson threw for 56 yards, Darquez Williams picked up 61 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and Anthony Triplett had 24 receiving yards.

With the loss, Caledonia falls to 1-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Caledonia travels to Columbus, MS to face off against the New Hope Trojans on Friday September 21 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
